What started as a search for the ultimate carry-on bag has evolved into a full line of minimalist accessories focused on leather goods for men, women and travel.
Collections erupt from simple shapes, like a diamond, a teardrop or a post-minimalist sculpture. The style is decidedly auto-referential and bold. A pure concept is the vehicle used to |
create durable, unconventional and timeless pieces detached from seasonal fads. Taking inspiration from shapes, rather than trends, provides freedom to be independent. The aim is a lasting experience and a more iconic expression -- untied from today's fast fashion. Confident girls, like Claire Danes and Gwyneth Paltrow, were early adopters of the line.
All bags are produced in limited editions in New York City. |
The signature German Buckminster leather is aniline dyed. The hardware is custom made in the NYC Diamond District. Linings are in an Italian cotton/cashmere blend or suede.
The line, founded in 2006, is the synthesis of two. Alexandra Gross is a native of Manhattan with Russian and Colombian roots. She specialized in tailoring at FIT. Mikkel Hansen is a Danish journalist turned creative entrepreneur. He has traveled extensively, which finally brought him to his home in New York. The initial carry-on bag is still in use. |
